Will quit politics, if allegations proved: KP speaker  

ISLAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser on Monday said that if the corruption allegations levelled against him were proved to be true, he would quit politics.

While talking in a talk show of AbbTakk News ‘Tonight With Fareeha,’ Asad Qaiser said that baseless allegations were hurled at him. He vowed to approach court against the corruption allegations leveled against him. Qaiser determined to bring the accusers to the justice.

KP assembly speaker said that corruption charges were levelled at him by an unknown letter. Qaiser said that he has been living in the  house since 2009 in Swabi . The speaker said that he had declared all his assets in a statement in 2013.

On the other hand, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Daniyal Aziz demanded resignation of Asad Qaiser over his alleged involvement in corruption. He said that institution of accountability had been closed in KP for one and half year.
