ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Human Rights Dr. Shireen Mazari has said that an article 25 of the constitution guarantees equality regarding gender adding that Pakistan is the country where the laws exist but its implementation not followed.
Addressing at a Seminar ‘ Challenges and Impediments Against Women in Politics’ hosted by Women’s Parliamentary Caucus (WPC), today during the 5th CPA Asia Regional Conference in Islamabad, Federal Minister for Human Rights Dr. Shireen Mazari said that women are playing a vital role in every field despite difficulties.

The Federal Minister said that injustices and rape incidences are on the rise in the country while she said that participation of women in the politics is vital legislation for human rights especially women rights.
Other participants of the seminar said that Pakistani women remained PM of the country despite difficulties and hurdles, however, it is need of the hour to spread awareness and knowledge among common women regarding their political rights.
