ISLAMABAD: ‘World Day for Safety and Health at Work’ is being observed in Pakistan and across the globe here on Sunday to promote safe, healthy and decent work at places of work.
This day is being observed by the International Labour Organization (ILO) since 2003. The main aim to observe this day is to promote safe, healthy and decent work at the places of work and to create awareness in this regards among the labourers.
According to experts, the labourers working at mines and constructions sites should cover their bodies well with the necessary costumes including helmets, gloves and special shoes.
Experts also said that every worker should maintain the safety standards during the work hours for their health.
