Lahore (August 29, 2017): Preparations are on at the Qaddafi Stadium here for the 3-match T-20 series between host Pakistan and visitor World XI. The paint, renovation, and repair works are speedily continue at the Stadium.
The ground staff has initiated works on the grass and preparing the pitch for the event which will bring international cricket back to Pakistan after it was suspended in the wake of March 3, 2009 attack on a bus carrying Sri Lankan cricket team here.
Paint works are underway at various enclosures while polishing and cleaning works of the seats also continue simultaneously.
World XI will arrive in Lahore from Dubai on September 11 to play three T-20 matches- on September 12, 13, 1nd 15.
World XI will play all the three T-20 matches at Qaddafi Stadium.
