LAHORE: Lahore High Court has issued a written ruling rejecting the bail of PTI founder Imran Khan in eight cases related to May 9.
A two-member bench, headed by Justice Shehbaz Ali Rizvi, released the 7-page decision, according to the written order of the Lahore High Court, all these cases fall under Section 497 of the Criminal Procedure Code, and further investigation is required in these cases.
The court’s decision stated that the trial court had permitted polygraph, photographic, and voice-matching tests; however, it appears that Imran Khan did not cooperate with the investigative process. the ruling emphasizes that additional investigations are necessary in all cases, and consequently, all of Imran Khan’s applications for bail are dismissed.
