WEB DESK: X formerly Twitter will now feel quite similar to TikTok, cause X has updated its video feed interface to resemble TikTok.
According to detail, X (formerly Twitter) has introduced a vertical video feed tab for users within the app, this feature is being rolled out first in the United States, and the video viewing experience on Elon Musk’s owned social media platform will now resemble that of TikTok.
This change by X came at a time when a potential ban on TikTok in the U.S. was close to being implemented, the newly elected U.S. President, Donald Trump, announced temporary relief for TikTok after taking office.
Currently, no ban has been enforced on TikTok, so it is unclear whether the new feature introduced by X will be beneficial.
However, it clearly indicates that TikTok-like vertical video feeds have become common on social networks.
If the temporary relief for TikTok ends in a few months, X will likely try to attract TikTok’s users with its own version of a vertical video feed
