Yasir Shah equals 120-year old world record

ABU DHABI: Pakistani leg-spinner Yasir Shah on Tuesday equaled 120 years old world record for taking maximum wickets in 18 Test matches.

Yasir Shah equaled the 120 years old world record by taking 112 wickets in 18 Test matches. He leveled the record in the Abu Dhabi Test against West Indies.

 Earlier, GA Lohman of England was the only cricketer who had the record. GA Lohman made the record in 1896. It is pertinent to mention here that the leg-spinner king had clinched 10 wickets in an inning twice and 8 times grabbed five wickets.
