Karachi (May 24, 2017): Governor Sindh Muhammad Zubair has urged K-Electric to reduce cut the duration of power load shedding during the fasting month of Ramzan.
The appeal came during the third phase of the laptop distribution ceremony of held at Dawood University of Engineering and Technology here. Congratulating the students the Governor urged K-Electric to be mindful of people during the fasting month of Ramzan.
Compared to other cities the power load shedding is still low in Karachi, he said. Informing the people that Chinese Shanghai Power has bought K-Electric the Governor expressed hope that it would help improve the power situation in the city.
Inviting the leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami to Governor House Zubair said that if sit-ins by political parties could help resolve problems they should go ahead with it. However, protests are no solution to resolve problems, he added.
