RAWALPINDI: Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has released details of the martyrs and injured during the Indian aggression.
According to ISPR, during this tension, 11 soldiers sacrificed their lives while 78 personnel were injured in response to aggression against civilians.
The ISPR stated that, among those who laid down their lives for the homeland are 6 from the Army and 5 from the Air Force.
The spokesperson of the Pakistan Army mentioned that the martyrs include Naik Abdul Rehman, Lance Naik Delaawar Khan, Lance Naik Iqramullah, and Naik Waqaar Khalid. Additionally, Sepoy Adeel Akbar and Nisar also sacrificed their lives for the country.
From the Pakistan Air Force, Squadron Leader Usman Yousuf, Chief Technician Umer Zubair, and other senior technicians Najib Sultan, Mubashir, and Corporal Technician Farooq are also among the martyrs.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Indian Army launched unprovoked attacks on May 6 and 7. During these assaults, 40 civilians were martyred, including 7 women and 15 children. Additionally, 121 people, including 27 children and 10 women, were injured.
In a statement issued by ISPR, it was emphasized that the martyrs are the pride of the nation. Their sacrifice is a remarkable symbol of bravery, spirit, and patriotism. Their great sacrifice will never be forgotten. Prayers are offered for the quick recovery of the injured. The nation remains resolute in the face of aggression, and there should be no ambiguity about this.
The ISPR spokesperson further stated that, no compromise will be made on Pakistan’s sovereignty, and any future acts of aggression will be met with a decisive response.
