MURREE: At least 21 people, including women and children, were injured in two separate road accidents in Murree and Nawabshah on Sunday.
In Murree, six people suffered minor injuries after a vehicle plunged approximately 15 feet into a ravine in the Jhika Gali area. Rescue officials promptly reached the site and safely evacuated the injured before providing initial medical assistance.
In a separate incident near Sakrand on the National Highway in Nawabshah district, a passenger van carrying people from Rayanpur to Karachi overturned while attempting to overtake another vehicle at high speed. The crash left 15 passengers injured, with three reported to be in critical condition.
All the injured were transported to Taluka Hospital Sakrand, where they are receiving medical treatment.
