KARACHI: Two-hundred-eighteen Pakistanis who were stranded in Turkey are back home aboard Turkish Airline’S FLIGHTS 708 AND 118.
The phase-wise return of the Pakistanis stranded due to uncertain situation that pervaded after the failed coup attempt in Turkey has begun.
The first flight arrived at 2:40 a.m. last night while another arrived here in the morning with 78 people including women and children.
A large of number of relatives were present at the airport. The returning pakstanis said that there was a chaos in Istanbul due to the coup and firngs and loud blats were heard in Istanbul.
Edibles and baby milk were not available due to the tense situation.
Flights bringing back Pakistanis back home continue arriving from time to time.
