South Africa Eventually Beat Host England in 3rd ODI

Lords (May 29, 2017): South Africa get much needed momentum on their side ahead of the Champions Trophy 2017 as they beat England by seven wickets in the third ODI against England at Lord’s on Monday.

Electing to field, the visitors ran through the hosts’ top-order and reduced them to 20/6 at one stage. Jonny Bairstow did the repair job with a gritty fifty but England could only manage 153.

In reply, South Africa got off to fluent start, lost three in quick succession but AB de Villiers and JP Duminy combined well to see the side home. England, who rested key players for the dead rubber, take the three-match ODI series 2-1.
