2nd Test: Day 2 close, Pakistan struggling at 57/4

MANCHESTER: Pakistan was struggling chasing target of 589 runs set by England after losing four wickets for 57 runs at the close of day two of the second Test at Old Stafford here.

Captain Misbahul Haq and Shan Masood will open Pakistan’s inning on the third day today. Pakistani batsmen completely failed to give their team a confident start. Opener Muhammad Hafeez was gone for eight runs while Azhar Ali and Yunus Khan returned back to the pavilion after adding one run each. Night watchman Rahat Ali was gone for four runs.

Pakistan still needs 532 runs to equal England’s first inning score of 589 (declared with two wickets still in hand).
