Islamabad: Former the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) secretary general Asad Umar health deteriorated during a hearing of May 9 case in a room of anti terrorism court Islamabad.
Lawyers immediately called rescue 1122 to take him to a hospital. Whereas lawyers and staff of the court carrying Asad Umar transported to the rescue 1122 vehicle.
Later the ex PTI leader was shifted to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology.
Asad Umar felt pain in his heart while Zain Qureshi, son of Shah Mahmood Qureshi carrying him took him to the PIC.
His treatment is going on at the PIC while the sources said that his blood pressure was become low.
The hospital sources said that one of his ECG report came normal while Asad Umar is talking to doctors and the PTI leaders.
PTI’s secretary general and opposition leader in the National Assembly (NA) Umar Ayub, Deputy Parliamentary Leader Zain Qureshi, MNA Muhammad Ahmed Chatha and MNA Bilal Aijaz also are present in the hospital.
Asad Umar had just arrived in Lahore to appear in the Anti-Terrorism Court when his condition worsened, after which he was immediately taken to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology.
He was transferred to PIC while Asad Umar’s lawyer has said that he suffered a heart attack in the court room….
