Lahore: Lahore is on top among the most polluted city in the world.
The schools timings have been changed from today as the classes will be started at 8:45 am while this timings will continue till January 31, 2025.
The action against those who were burning remains of crops as 17 people have been arrested.
Secretary protection of environment of Punjab Raja Jehangir has said the atmosphere of Lahore was getting polluted owing to burning of remains of crops in India and Pakistan.
Secretary protection of environment Raja Jehangir said owing to easterly waves, decrease in temperature and increase in humidity effecting the Lahore Quality Index worst.
He apprised that on the instructions of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz actions against have sped up.
