ISLAMABAD: The Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq has requested to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to form committee for holding government and opposition talk
Sadiq held a meeting with the prime minister to discuss the formation of the committeem the request followed the formation of a negotiation team by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Speaking to the media, Ayaz Sadiq said: “Barrister Gohar has acknowledged the role of the speaker as custodian of the house and stressed the need for playing an active role in facilitating the dialogues.”
Sadiq maintained: “Barrister Gohar has suggested forming a negotiation committee, which I endorsed.”
He added that resolving all the issues through dialogue was the only viable solution.
