Gaza: Six people were killed and others injured in an Israeli strike on a school sheltering displaced people in Gaza, the civil emergency service reported on Sunday.
The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, have announced that they have killed five Israeli soldiers in two different operations in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.
In a statement, the group said that their fighters ambushed and fatally stabbed three Israeli soldiers, seizing their weapons.
Following the ambush, the fighters advanced to a nearby house under the control of Israeli forces. They eliminated two more soldiers at the entrance of the building.
On the other hand, five people, including two children, were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a house in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza strip, medics told Reuters on Saturday.
Gaza’s civil defence agency reported that an Israeli air strike killed 10 members of a family in the northern part of the territory, including seven children.
“There are 10 martyrs … all targeted by an air strike on their home in Jabalia al-Nazla, southwest of Jabalia.. All of the martyrs are from the same family, including seven children, the oldest aged six,” civil defence agency spokesman said.
At least 45,227 Palestinians have been killed and 107,573 wounded in an Israel’s military offensive on Gaza since October 7,2023, Gaza health ministry said on Saturday.
