Islamabad: Hearing on the request to remove Shoaib Shaheen’s name from the travel ban list was adjourned.
The Islamabad High Court adjourned the hearing on the plea to remove the name of PTI leader Shoaib Shaheen from the travel ban list.
Islamabad High Court Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir heard the case, PTI leader Shoaib Shaheen appeared in court in his personal capacity.
Petitioner took the position that earlier my name was put in PNIL, FIA removed my name from the list on court order, my name was re-put in passport control list to target political vendetta.
On this, the FIA ​​representative told the court that Shoaib Shaheen’s name is not in any list from our side.
The representative passport office informed the court that Shoaib Shaheen’s name was mistakenly entered in the list, which has now been cleared, Shoaib Shaheen’s passport has been activated, seeking forgiveness for the mistake.
Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir said in his remarks that if the name is again included in any list, it will be contempt of court.
Later, the court adjourned the hearing of the case against adding the name of Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Shoaib Shaheen to the travel ban list till January 13.
