ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission has registered the political party Awaam Pakistan, led by former Prime Minister, Shahid Khaqan to be Convenor, Miftah Secretary
The Election Commission issued a notification confirming the registration of Awaam Pakistan. According to the notification, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will serve as the party’s Convenor, and Miftah Ismail will be the Secretary.
The notification also mentioned that intra-party elections were held in June of the previous year.
It is worth noting that in June of the previous year, disgruntled leaders of the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) formed a new political party under the name Awaam Pakistan Party.
The slogan of the new political party is “Badlay Ga Nizam” (The System Will Change), and the party’s flag features green and blue colors, with the party name written in white.
