Lahore: Like other parts of the country, the medicines prices have increased while uptick in the medicines prices added miseries to the life of the people.
People demanded that the government ensured that prices of medicines of diabetes, blood pressure be decreased.
On the other hand,provincial minister Khawaja Imran Nazir said that the action will be taken against those who increased the medicines prices.
Moreover, panadol, disprene and cough syrup and other medicines of enough use also increased.
The citizens said that inflation already left people distubed now with the uptick in the medicine prices will made treatment difficult.
The Minister said that the federal government determined the prices of the medicines. While he said that the provincial government will take action over increasing the prices more than the fixed rate.
The pharmacy owners said tha the medicines could not be sale in the cheap prices after purchasing the expensive medicines.
The government made binding the whole sale and pharmaceutical companies to lower the medicines prices.
