HYDERABAD: Renowned Sindhi poet Akash Ansari passed away in a fire at his home in Citizen Colony, Hyderabad. According to rescue officials, a fire broke out in the house, resulting in one person’s death.
The police confirmed that the deceased person, who was burned in the fire, was identified as the famous Sindhi poet Akash Ansari. The police stated that a post-mortem examination would be conducted, as an unnatural death requires a medical examination and post-mortem. The body has been taken to Liaquat University Hospital for the post-mortem.
According to police officials, Dr. Akash’s family took his body to Badin for burial.
Latif Akash, Dr. Akash Ansari’s adopted son, said that the fire incident occurred around 8:30 AM. When he opened the door to the room, he found Dr. Akash lying on the floor next to his bed. When he tried to enter the room, his feet were burned.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister of Sindh paid tribute to the services of poet Akash Ansari and instructed an investigation into the fire incident at his home.
