ISLAMABAD: Islamabad: Justice Ali Baqar Ranjha has officially assumed the role of a Supreme Court judge, following a ceremonial oath-taking administered by Chief Justice Yahya Afridi.
The event was held at the Supreme Court and was attended by fellow judges, legal dignitaries, and other distinguished guests.
During the ceremony, Justice Ali Baqar Ranjha pledged his commitment to his new responsibilities as a member of the Supreme Court.
Justice Ranjha has been appointed to the Supreme Court by President Asif Ali Zardari, transitioning from his previous position at the Lahore High Court.
The formal notification of his appointment was subsequently issued by the Ministry of Law.
