Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed resolve to expedite process of institutional reforms on priority basis besides macroeconomic level reforms.
He was talking to a delegation of International Monetary Fund led by Jihad Azour, which called on him in Islamabad on Thursday.
The Prime Minister said by the grace of Almighty Allah, Pakistan is heading towards economic growth, after attaining economic stability.
During the meeting, the discussions focused on the implementation of ongoing IMF programme in Pakistan. The two sides expressed satisfaction over the economic reforms undertaken by the government and their positive outcomes.
The IMF delegation expressed the resolve for continued support from the IMF in Pakistan’s efforts for economic stability and growth.
