According to the Meteorological Department, most regions across the country are likely to experience hot and dry weather; however, plains areas are forecasted to face intense heat.
In Islamabad and surrounding areas, there are also possibilities of dust storms, strong winds, and heavy rainfall. The Meteorological Department has advised the public to adopt emergency precautionary measures to avoid potential damages.
Most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are expected to experience partly cloudy weather, with regions such as Mansehra, Kohistan, Abbottabad, Haripur, Chitral, Dera, and others likely to see strong winds and thunderstorms along with heavy rainfall.
In Punjab, the weather will remain hot and dry, but areas like Rawalpindi, Murree, Galyat, Attock, Chakwal, and Jhelum are forecasted to experience dust storms, strong winds, and rain.
Balochistan will continue to experience hot and dry weather, while in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, some areas may see heavy rainfall and hailstorms.
Meteorological Department has warned the public that strong winds, dust storms, thunderstorms, hail, and heavy rains could cause damage to weak infrastructure such as electric poles, trees, vehicles, and solar panels. Citizens are urged to take precautionary measures to protect themselves and their property from potential hazards.
