Karachi: Investigation into actress and model Humaira Asghar mysterious death is underway.
According to the police her dead body is more than six months old while the facts regarding her death will only surface after chemical examination of her body.
On the other hand, the neighbours told the reporters that the actress had been living in the flat since 2018 but she had not paid her apartment rent in 2024 and case was in process filed by landolrd in Clifton Catonment Board.
The neighbours further apprised that hardly any one visits her house, she used to live alone.
Moreover, provincial minister for culture Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah has said that if her relatives don’t come to receive her body then the ministry will conduct her last rites as she was the country actress.
The Minister said that if her family don’t receive body or not conducting her burial then the culture ministry will be heir of her body.
The Minister has written a letter to additonal Inspector General Karachi for the arrangements.
He also appointed Director General Culture as focal person on the issue.
