Islamabad: Federal Minister for Health Syed Mustafa Kamal on Monday said that Pakistan pharmaceutical and medical devices fields have massive economic capacity.
Chairing a meeting of Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) in which preparations regarding digitalization and licensing of medical devices were reviewed.
On the occasion, the Minister said that reforms are being introduced on a large scale in the field of health.
Syed Mustafa Kamal said that a system of medical devices is being digitized adding its registration and licensing system will be online.
We wanted to make the DRAP such a institution which is an impressive, modern, transparent and people friendly, Kamal added.
Moreover, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) DRAP along with his team called on Federal Minister for Health Syed Mustafa Kamal.
The meet up gave a briefing on preparation of inauguration ceremony of the digitalization and licensing of medical devices.
At the occasion secretary health Waqar Ul Hassan and additional secretary were also present.
