Islamabad: Federal Minister for health Syed Mustafa Kamal on Tuesday said that manufacturing of local vaccines and uninterrupted provision of the vaccines to the children of the country is the priority of the government.
The Minister was talking to Chief Executive Officer of Gavi Dr Sania Nishtar who called on the Minister today at the headquarter of the Ministry.
The CEO of Gavi and the Minister agreed on a joint measures strengthening EPI program, manufacturing of vaccine on local level and eradication of polio from the country.
Dr Sania Nishtar lauded recent progress of Pakistan EPI program and ensured the Minister Pakistan being given center stage in the policy of the Gavi.
