Mystery as tiny Picasso painting vanishes before show

Web Desk: In Spain, a remarkable painting by the legendary artist Pablo Picasso has mysteriously vanished before making it to an exhibition.

As reported, the artwork, titled Still Life with Guitar, is a rare piece valued at 6.5 million euros. It was being transported from Madrid to an art show in Granada when the incident occurred.

Sources reveal that on October 3, the painting was moved from Madrid to Granada in a van, which arrived at the exhibition hall at 10 a.m. All the artworks were unloaded upon arrival, but it was later noticed that certain items were lacking proper identification numbers, complicating the inventory process.

During a subsequent inspection amid exhibition preparations, organizers discovered that Picasso’s painting was missing. Authorities have since launched an investigation into its disappearance. Meanwhile, the Granada Foundation has assured full cooperation with law enforcement.

The painting, created in 1919, is in the possession of a private collector. Despite its relatively small size, the piece holds immense artistic and historical value.

So far, police have neither made arrests nor identified suspects. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities explore the possibility of art theft.
