PESHAWAR: In a successful operation in the Mughalkot sector of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, security forces neutralized two foreign militants.
According to security sources, the operation in Bannu was conducted based on intelligence reports. The target was the Tariq Kachhi group, and its key figures, Tariq Kachhi, leader of Fatwan al-Khwaraj, and Hakimullah, also known as Tiger, were killed during the action.
Officials confirmed the recovery of weapons from the deceased militants. Security forces revealed that the Tariq Kachhi group had been involved in various terrorist activities for the past two years.
The group was reportedly engaged in extortion operations on behalf of the Taliban.
Additionally, sources stated that Tariq Kachhi played a significant role in facilitating cross-border infiltration into Pakistan from Afghanistan.
