Match officials announced for Pakistan v Sri Lanka ODI series

RAWALPINDI: Ali Naqvi from Pakistan has been appointed as the match referee for the three-match ODI series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, scheduled to take place at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from November 11 to 15.

For the first ODI, England’s Alexander Wharf, a member of the ICC Elite Panel of Umpires, will serve as an on-field umpire alongside Pakistan’s Asif Yaqoob, who is part of the ICC Emerging Panel of Umpires. Bangladesh’s Saikat Sharfuddoula, also from the ICC Elite Panel of Umpires, will oversee duties as the third umpire, while Rashid Riaz from the ICC International Panel of Umpires will act as the fourth umpire.

During the second ODI on November 13, Saikat Sharfuddoula will team up with Faisal Afridi from the ICC International Panel of Umpires as on-field officials. Alexander Wharf will take on the role of the third umpire, with Asif Yaqoob fulfilling responsibilities as the fourth umpire.

The third and final ODI on November 15 will feature Alexander Wharf and Rashid Riaz as on-field umpires, while Saikat Sharfuddoula and Faisal Afridi will serve as third and fourth umpires, respectively.

Following the ODI series, a T20 Triangular Series will commence, involving Pakistan, Zimbabwe, and Sri Lanka. The matches are set to be held in Rawalpindi and Lahore from November 17 to 29.
