RAWALPINDI: Pakistan won the toss and opted to bowl first against Zimbabwe in the opening match of the T20I tri-series held on Tuesday at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
The two sides have faced off 21 times in T20I cricket, with Pakistan holding a dominant record over Zimbabwe.
Coming into the series, Pakistan are in impressive form, having recently triumphed in a T20I tri-series against Afghanistan and the UAE as they prepare for the Asia Cup 2025.
Additionally, Pakistan secured a 2-1 home series victory over South Africa and will be looking to carry their winning momentum forward.
On the other hand, Zimbabwe finds themselves under pressure after a disappointing 3-0 defeat in their recent T20I series against Afghanistan.
