G.BALTISTAN: Justice (R) Yar Muhammad officially took the oath as the Caretaker Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan today in Gilgit.
The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Governor’s House, where Governor Syed Mehdi Shah administered the oath of office. The event was attended by Federal Minister for Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, Engineer Amir Muqam, along with numerous political leaders and government officials.
Following the oath-taking, the new caretaker CM held a meeting with Governor Syed Mehdi Shah. Engineer Amir Muqam was also present during the discussion, which focused on regional stability, administrative issues, and strategies to ensure smooth governance during the caretaker period.
The Federal Minister congratulated Yar Muhammad on assuming the role and expressed confidence in his ability to oversee transparent and effective governance in Gilgit-Baltistan. Governor Shah emphasized the importance of federal cooperation in advancing development projects and public welfare initiatives in the region.
In his address, Caretaker Chief Minister Yar Muhammad committed to prioritizing public interests and vowed to serve impartially and professionally while fulfilling his responsibilities.
