DUBAI: Pakistan advanced to the semi-finals of the Under-19 Asia Cup cricket competition by defeating the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 70 runs.
In their last group stage match held in Dubai, Pakistan set a target after posting 241 runs for 9 wickets. Key contributions came from Ahmed Hussain, who scored 65, Samir Minhas with 44, and Hamza Zahoor adding 42 runs.
UAE’s bowling attack was led by Yog Sharma, who claimed 3 wickets, and Naseem Khan, who took 2.
In reply, UAE was bowled out in the 38th over, managing only 171 runs. Ian Masbah was the top scorer with 77 runs, while Prithvi Madhhu added 27.
