Gold prices in Pakistan experience significant decline: December 30, 2025

KARACHI: Pakistan’s gold market experienced its second significant slump on Tuesday, aligning with global trends in the gold trade.

The price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan witnessed a sharp decline of Rs10,700 per tola, bringing it down to Rs459,462, as reported by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

Similarly, 10 grams of 24-karat gold saw a decrease of Rs9,174, now priced at Rs393,914. Meanwhile, the rate for 10 grams of 22-karat gold fell by Rs8,410, settling at Rs361,100.

Globally, the trend mirrored this drop. Gold in the international bullion market plunged by $107, lowering the price to $4,371 per ounce.

Silver prices in Pakistan also followed suit. The price of one tola of 24-karat silver decreased by Rs145 to settle at Rs7,930, while 10 grams of silver registered a decline of Rs125, bringing it to Rs6,798.
