RIYADH: During an exhilarating double wicket cricket match at a festival in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan’s team emerged victorious against India.
Captain Shoaib Malik and Imran Nazir led Pakistan to a hard-fought win, defeating the Indian squad featuring Irfan Pathan and Stuart Binny by just 5 runs.
Pakistan posted a competitive total of 56 runs in the 4-over match, with India falling short at 51 runs. After the game, players from both sides exchanged friendly gestures, including handshakes and a warm hug between Irfan Pathan and Shoaib Malik.
Having previously beaten Sri Lanka and the UAE, Pakistan’s trio of wins has secured their place in the semi-finals of the tournament.
