KARACHI: During an anti-encroachment operation in Karachi’s Lee Market, Assistant Commissioner Hazzam Bangwar was targeted with a petrol bomb but escaped unhurt.
Talking to media, Hazzam Bangwar said that the operation was in progress when an unidentified attacker threw a petrol bomb at him. He was fortunate to survive, although the blast ignited a fire in a nearby shop.
Bangwar added that three suspects connected to the attack have been detained by law enforcement agencies.
He further noted that the fire was swiftly controlled through immediate action, and the ongoing encroachment removal operation was completed successfully.
