TURBAT: At least six people from the same family were killed and three others wounded when unidentified assailants stormed a house and opened fire in Turbat on Tuesday, officials confirmed.
According to police, the attack took place in the Balida area of Turbat, where gunmen reportedly sprayed bullets at a residential property. Among those who lost their lives were a woman and a child. Three other relatives sustained injuries in the assault.
Law enforcement and security personnel reached the site shortly after being alerted to the incident. The deceased and injured were transported to a nearby medical facility, where the wounded are undergoing treatment.
Authorities have sealed off the surrounding neighborhood and launched a search operation to identify and arrest those responsible for the attack. Further investigation into the motive behind the shooting is ongoing.
