WEB DESK: In the second semi-final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, India has set a target of 254 runs for England to win.
The match is being played in Mumbai, where England’s captain Harry Brook won the toss and elected to bowl first.
India scored 253 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their 20 overs. Sanju Samson was the top scorer with an impressive 89 runs. Other notable contributions came from Shubman Gill (43), Ishan Kishan (39), Suryakumar Yadav (11), Hardik Pandya (27), and Tilak Varma (21).
For England, Wil Jacks and Adil Rashid took 2 wickets each.
It is worth noting that in the first semi-final of the ICC T20 World Cup, New Zealand defeated South Africa to qualify for the final.
The T20 World Cup 2026 final is scheduled to be held in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
