ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has strongly denounced Israel’s recent military operations targeting Lebanon, describing them as a serious breach of international law and calling for urgent international action to halt the hostilities.

In a statement released by the spokesperson Tahir Hussain Andrabi on Tuesday, Pakistan condemned the Israeli attacks, highlighting the devastating impact on civilians. The statement noted that the strikes have resulted in numerous civilian casualties and widespread displacement.

According to the official release, hundreds of innocent people have lost their lives, and nearly half a million residents have been forced to abandon their homes amid the ongoing violence. Pakistan emphasized that these actions violate international legal standards and hinder Lebanon’s efforts to sustain peace and stability.

The statement further warned that the situation risks worsening the already precarious humanitarian and security conditions in the region. Islamabad urged the international community to intervene swiftly to stop Israeli military operations, prevent the targeting of civilians, and uphold Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Pakistan reiterated its call for Israel to withdraw immediately, unconditionally, and completely from all occupied Lebanese territories. Expressing solidarity with the Lebanese people, Pakistan reaffirmed its unwavering support for their struggle against ongoing aggression.
