LAHORE: Pakistani film star Moammar Rana’s marital dispute has taken a significant turn after his wife, Mehnaz Pervaiz, reportedly obtained a khula decree and declined further efforts to reconcile.
According to the channel, Mehnaz secured the decree through her lawyer, Barrister Khadija Siddiqui, and made it clear that she was no longer willing to continue her marriage with the actor.
Despite attempts to settle their differences, she reportedly remained firm in her decision and ruled out the possibility of getting back together with Moammar Rana.
During the proceedings, Mehnaz reportedly stated that she did not wish to live with the actor under any circumstances.
Earlier, Moammar Rana had addressed reports of their separation during a podcast appearance, expressing his desire to save the marriage and saying he did not want their relationship to end.
However, his wife’s reported decision to obtain khula and reject reconciliation has brought their marital dispute into sharper focus.
Moammar Rana is a prominent figure in Pakistan’s film industry. He married Mehnaz Pervaiz in 1998, and the couple have two daughters.
