JEDDAH: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met today with Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in a private session in Jeddah.
The delegation included Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Chief of Army Staff & Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
At the start of the discussion, Prime Minister Sharif conveyed his warm regards and best wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and expressed gratitude for the Kingdom’s longstanding support for Pakistan.
Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with Saudi Arabia during the current challenging period. The two leaders exchanged detailed views on recent regional developments and emphasized the importance of joint efforts to promote peace and stability in the region.
The Prime Minister assured Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman that Pakistan would continue to stand firmly with Saudi Arabia and work toward their shared goal of regional harmony.
