BAJAUR: Four people, including two women and two children, lost their lives when a house roof gave way amid heavy rain in Bajaur on Wednesday. Another individual was injured in the incident, according to rescue officials.
In a separate incident in Kasur, the roof of a marriage hall collapsed due to downpours, killing one child and injuring seven others.
Rescue teams and police quickly reached both sites and carried out operations.
The injured have been admitted to Bullah Shah District Hospital for treatment. Authorities have arrested two individuals associated with the marriage hall and launched an investigation into the accident.
