KARACHI: A player from Islamabad United sustained serious injuries after being struck on the head by a cricket ball during a practice session in Karachi.
Sources said the accident occurred during net practice when a fast delivery hit the player, rendering him unconscious on the spot.
He was immediately transported to a local hospital for emergency treatment.
The incident cast a shadow over the Islamabad United camp, prompting the team to halt their training session.
