PM Shehbaz arrives in Saudi Arabia on regional diplomacy tour

RIYADH: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has landed in Riyadh as part of a four-day regional visit that also includes Qatar and Turkey from April 15 to 18, taking place amid ongoing diplomatic developments surrounding United States–Iran talks.

The prime minister is accompanied by a senior delegation, including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant Syed Tariq Fatemi.

During his stay in Saudi Arabia and Qatar, PM Shehbaz is expected to hold high-level meetings with the leadership of both countries, focusing on strengthening bilateral ties and discussing regional peace and security issues.

The visit will also see the prime minister travel to Turkey to attend the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, where he will take part in the Leaders’ Panel alongside other global figures. He is expected to outline Pakistan’s stance on key international and regional matters.

On the sidelines of the forum, the prime minister is likely to meet Turkish President Recep Tayyib Erdoğan and other world leaders to further enhance diplomatic engagement.

The multi-country tour highlights Pakistan’s continued efforts to deepen relations with key partners and actively contribute to international dialogue on pressing global challenges.
