MUMBAI: Renowned Indian film actor Bharat Kapoor has passed away at the age of 80. Fellow actor Avtar Gill confirmed his death, stating that Kapoor had been unwell for the past three days and suffered multiple organ failure.
According to Indian media reports, Bharat Kapoor was born on October 15, 1945, and enjoyed a distinguished career spanning nearly four decades in the film industry. He began his acting journey in the 1970s and quickly established a unique identity in Bollywood.
Kapoor was widely recognized for his deep voice, powerful expressions, and strong performances in negative roles.
His notable films include Qurbani, Noorie, Bazaar, Ghulami, Mandi, and Raeeszada. In addition to films, he also showcased his talent in television dramas.
