WEB DESK: Last night, a tragic car accident near the Sai Bagh petrol station in Hattian Bala, Azad Kashmir, resulted in the deaths of two cousins and left another person injured when the vehicle fell into a deep gorge.
Rescue officials confirmed that the deceased were identified as Taimur Nazir and Awais Rahim. The injured individual, named Waheed, was promptly rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital in Hattian Bala, where his condition is reported to be stable.
The victims were residents of Nakan Mughalan village, a locality near Chakothi. The impact of the crash was so intense that the vehicle was completely wrecked.
Rescue teams, along with local residents, conducted a swift operation to recover the injured and retrieve the bodies. Waheed was taken to the hospital, and officials say his condition is not life-threatening.
