Fazila Qazi’s sharp criticism of Iqrar Ul Hassan sparks social media debate

WEB DESK: Veteran Pakistani actress Fazila Qazi has recently taken to social media with a candid and fiery message directed at former TV host and journalist Iqrar Ul Hassan, igniting a lively discussion among fans and followers.

In a strongly worded video shared on her Instagram, Fazila expressed her disappointment and admitted that she had misunderstood Iqrar’s personality. She criticized what she called his excessive obsession with a particular individual, questioning his tone and remarks. Fazila urged the public to recognize both the positive and negative qualities in people, emphasizing fairness in judgment.

“I made a big mistake in understanding Iqrar. Listening to him constantly has exhausted me. You are so fixated on one person especially Imran Khan it’s concerning,” she said. “Even if someone supports a political figure, that’s their choice. I myself am not affiliated with any political party. What bothers me is the way people speak about others. I may have disagreements with Imran Khan’s political decisions, but I acknowledge his contributions he brought us the World Cup, established Shaukat Khanum, and helped countless patients get treatment. We should appreciate good deeds too.”

Fazila then pointed out her view of Iqrar’s attitude, criticizing his character assassination and behavior. “Look at yourself before pointing fingers at others. We’re all sinners. When you criticize someone, remember three or four fingers point back at you. Reflect on your own actions. You misbehaved at the airport, and even then, I stayed quiet, thinking you might be under pressure. But honestly, I believe you need help. It’s time to seek treatment for your mind and behavior,” she added.

She concluded with a direct message: “Take a good look at yourself. Sometimes, a little self-awareness is needed. And maybe it’s time for some introspection and help. Because, frankly, your conduct suggests you might benefit from professional support.”

Fazila Qazi’s candid remarks have stirred mixed reactions online, with many praising her honesty and others debating the appropriateness of her comments.
