LAHORE: Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court, Justice Alia Neelum, on Tuesday unveiled five new digital platforms aimed at modernizing judicial administration and improving the efficiency, transparency, and delivery of court services across Punjab.
The launch ceremony was attended by the Registrar of the Lahore High Court, the Director General of Judicial and Case Management, and other senior officials. During the event, the Additional Registrar (IT) provided a comprehensive presentation on the newly introduced systems and their role in streamlining court operations.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Justice Alia Neelum said the judiciary’s digital transformation is focused on making effective use of technology to ensure faster and more efficient justice for citizens. She reaffirmed that the timely dispensation of justice remains the court’s foremost priority.
She also emphasized the Lahore High Court’s commitment to a judicial system founded on merit, transparency, and accountability, noting that the latest technological initiatives would enhance both judicial performance and administrative efficiency.
Among the newly launched initiatives are the Secure Judicial Communication System and the Lahore High Court Case Management System, designed to improve case handling and secure official communication.
The court also introduced a Procurement Management System to promote transparency in procurement procedures, along with a Utility Bills Management and Monitoring System for better oversight of utility expenses. In addition, a Notification Management System has been rolled out to streamline internal administrative processes and improve office management.
