ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has extended his gratitude to overseas Pakistanis for contributing $41.6 billion in remittances during the fiscal year 2025–26.
In a statement, he highlighted that this 8.6% rise in remittance inflows demonstrates the trust and confidence that expatriates have in the government’s policies and efforts.
The Prime Minister emphasized that overseas Pakistanis are a vital national asset and expressed pride in their contributions. He also reaffirmed that the well-being and welfare of overseas Pakistanis continue to be a foremost priority for the government.
