Petroleum Association Delegation to meet with govt today amid strike threat

ISLAMABAD: A key meeting is scheduled for Wednesday evening between representatives of the Petrol Pumps Association and the Petroleum Ministry, as oil dealers prepare for a potential strike to press their demands.

The government has called in the leaders of the Petroleum Owners Association for discussions. The delegation, headed by Humayun Khan, will engage with Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik in what is described as a critical and decisive session.

Humayun Khan informed the media that this will be the final round of negotiations with the Petroleum Minister. He emphasized that the outcome of these talks could determine the future course of action regarding their demands.
